Hello from Tokyo!
Bullet train was amazing. Thanks Cassie for the advice on which train to take and where to sit.
Was a bit costly.. but well worth the 2.5 hr trip.. and yes, it was spot on 2.5 hrs!
Gotta love the japanese.
Had a crazy time heading from Tokyo station to where my hostel is. Had to board 3 different train lines (unlike Osaka where my train from the airport took me to my hotel) just to get here!
But it was worth it in the end.. as i have settled in, bought food for the next 2 days and even sent a package home! Be careful with it when it arrives.. i expect to see the box in tact and full when i get home ;-)
Anyways, just a short post tonight.. didn't really get a chance to do much today.. but the next 2 days are spent at disney :-D

(Oh, something off topic.. got my email from NIDA today.. only 15 people were accepted this year. Crazy!)

ReplyDeleteJust checking before I go to bed. Papers have not arrived from NIDA as there has been a postal 'go slow' these past few days, but NIDA says they are on their way. Can't wait to see all the info.
