Trying to make it sound like it was a big event.. and that i did something.
But i didn't.
I did watch the fireworks from the hostel which were amazing.. but what else would you expect from a country where fireworks are sold in department stores!
Over 100 fireworks being fired off at once.. was something to see :-)
But apart from that.. spent the entire time on my own. So like christmas.. it wasn't a fun time.
I took photos and a video.. but i am super tired so i am heading to bed. Will try and load photos when i arrive in berlin.

Hi Elizabeth,I do hope that you have had a good time in Stuttgarth. I am not suprised that you were somewhat late on 31.December, after all when you went to see wicked I am sure that the performance wouldn'have finished much before 11PM and by the time you reached your hostel I would imagine that nearly all the people staying there would have flown the nest to go to some party or so.What was the seat like we selected in Australia? Also once you hit Berlin tell Tina that you would like to the KADEWE,6th floor, because you will never have seen a bigger selection of food in your life this is real tourist attraction, the Berlin Zoo,and the museum Insel is also worthwhile seeing . The rest I leave to Tina and Company.Prosit New Year

Sounds like the fireworks were amazing. You sounded a lot happier on the phone this morning when we spoke than on this post!! Could hear how loud they were! Amazing. Not everyone parties. We sat and watched the fireworks on TV - rivetting stuff - and C went into a rainsoaked city and ended up sitting in a bar as it was so wet. So.... yours was probably better as the fireworks sounded amazing. Enjoy your time in Berlin,
