Welcome back!

Jumped on my flight super early from Berlin and made it safely to London. Left a snowing country.. arrived to a cold but snowless country. Was the smoothest flight.. didn't even realise we had landed! Was happy i scored an emergancy seat though.. thank god for online check-in. But was not impressed by 2 male giants who wanted to force me and another guy out of our emergancy seats because he wanted 'more room'. Check-in online next time.. your loss!

As soon as i arrived in London, jumped on a train to the hostel, dropped off my bags and went exploring again. Visited my favourite theatres, revisited oxford st shops and decided to head to the British Museum.

The British Museum should be renamed as the British Maze. The building really only has 3 major/main levels, but some random rooms appear from nowhere giving this 3 story building 5 floors.. sometimes 7 :-S
Loved the egyptian exhibition (as usual), the japanese history exhibition and even the coin and medal collection! Bit sad that i couldn't see the aztec exhibition.. but i didn't have a lazy 12 pound lying around (entry into the museum was free thank god).

After the museum, headed back to the hostel to relax for a bit before i was meant to meet someone for drinks. But once it hit 7pm i realised we weren't going to be catching up.. so i went to the local pub on the corner for dinner. But i did wander around for 1/2 an hour before that trying to find somewhere to eat.. and it began to snow.. but stopped after a while.
After the pub i gave into my 3 week craving and went and got some killer ice cream.. was so yummy!

Then it was time to head to bed to prepare for a big day the next day..
