Today was such an amazing day to end my trip in London.
It first started with having to line up
in the snow for nearly an hour to get a ticket for the front row to Wicked matinee today.. I was successful. Sat 2 seats across and one row forward from where i sat last time.
Headed back to the hostel, had a bite to eat then relaxed for a bit before the show.
This time the only change was an understudy on for Nessa. Sadly i missed out on seeing Ash but i was so happy to see Alexia again. And their morrible here is wonderful!
Poor thing has a busted wrist (reason she was away last time i was here) and has to wear a brace.. the witty costume department have created covers for her brace in the fabric of her own costumes to 'hide' it.. so smart! ;-)
After wicked, went out for a drink with Jake, a friend of mum's friend who works for a big producer here in London. Was an interesting chat.
Then headed out for drinks and a quick bite to eat with my cousin Jay and his partner Simone. So glad i could catch up with them this time.. missed out over christmas.
After drinks with them, i quickly headed back over to WWRY to catch Peter with my poster, but
i ended up seeing Hannah (company manager) who took me backstage. Sadly i missed out on a full tour (since they had 2 intruders break in during the show today.. so security was tight) but it was made up for by having drinks with Hannah and the cast after the show. Peter dropped off my poster but had to head home.. but i am so grateful for him getting it signed for me :-)
We plan to keep in touch, so hopefully when i come back we can have a drink after the show :-)
